I'm Cassandra -
Casey if you're lazy
This is me. Usually laughing or smiling (unless that good ol' seasonal depression and anxiety has taken hold). Like many, my life has had its ups and downs. Fortunately, I've learned that those low times help make you stronger and more thankful for the good things in your life.

I will always pick a craft beer over wine. I change my hair color often. I drink iced coffees in 20 degree weather. If there is a good sunset, you will immediately hear me complain that I'm not photographing it. I'm always planning out my next tattoo. I am incredibly klutzy and have definitely fallen/tripped several times during sessions. I'm shocked I haven't broken a camera or lens yet.

I worked in Mental Health for over 12 years before finally taking the leap to full time photography. It served me well and I'm forever thankful for the experience it gave me.

This is my little fam. Somehow the husband and I have been together 20 years (13 years married) and have managed to still love and genuinely like one another.

We have two amazing and wild daughters as well as two adorable pit mix dogs.

It's not all sunshine and rainbows, as anyone with kids will tell you, but I can honestly say they are the best thing I've done. They are also the whole reason my photography improved so much over the years. When you have the most perfect subjects in the house, you tend to take a lot of pictures!

Traveling and experiencing new places is probably my favorite thing in the world. Growing up, we didn't have money to travel, so that is what we save for today. I want my girls to see the world!
If you don't live in Kansas and want a session with me, I can definitely travel there! I have lots of points with Southwest to use! Also check out my travel schedule!
